So. I somehow managed to flip my glasses off of my head (I'm calling it an act of god) and into a smallish ravine next to Jack's in Rawtenstall. I was ready to suffer my loss and get a new pair but my partner decided to call the firestation, which is only over the road. These guys were kind enough to come and get them out for me, much to my embarrassment and the amusement of various onlookers. I cannot praise them enough, they honestly could have laughed at me and told me not to waste their time, but they got my glasses back for me and saved me a fortune. Thank you so much to everyone involved, and sorry for wasting your time and resources!
