Nordic Algae is located in Roskilde, Denmark on Frederiksborgvej 399. Nordic Algae is rated 3 out of 5 in the category engineer in Denmark. Nordic Algae envision a future where seaweed is the most produced natural resource to solve our global challenges, including feeding 9 billion people by 2030. In fact, seaweed is an under exploited source of food & energy, while having the potential to clean up the environment. To make this vision a reality, our mission is to create sustainable solutions for seaweed cultivation through innovative technologies that will establish standards for production equipment and enable a co-created scaling of the seaweed industry. At Nordic Algae we respond to a need: the industrial farming of seaweed for a stable supply. Nordic Algae is developing an automated cultivation - and harvesting system which increase productivity, reduce farming area visibility, while being modular to adapt to multiple species. Nordic Algae’s system possesses unique features, making it possible to adapt its height for an optimal seaweed growth, scale it to fit farms of different size and handle it with a minimum of touchpoints.
