Have been going here for takeaway for years. Having tried others over the years we still think Rose of India is the best. Very friendly staff, tasty food with good portions and not swimming in oil. You have to wait longer maybe than at other restaurants but it's worth it IMHO.

To me this has been the best Indian restaurant in Chelmsford for years. The team, faced with challenging times have branched out into delivery and I can honestly say it was delicious. If you were a regular go back to support the business and if you are new... you’ve just hit jackpot!
Brilliant service! Ordered in during lockdown, food arrived swiftly with no delays to what we were told. Delivered in a very considerate and appropriate manner considering covid regulations. Food tasted exactly how it does when eating in which is absolutely delicious. Top team - going above and beyond as always!
