Went for a very early dinner. The evening was fully booked. Not many people at that time. I had venison bourgogne. The meat was excellent, vegetables a little cool. My wife had ham, eggs & chips. She was very pleased with hers. The ham was very good and the chips excellent. Very good service and good range of drinks. Nice atmosphere.

A great village pub. North Norfolk CAMRA pub of th the year 2019. A great selection of beers, traditional pub food plus more.
After numerous visits over the last 3 years, I can honestly say this is the best pub in Norfolk. The food, beer and ambiance are just amazing. The ham, duck egg and chips are my personal favourite!
Amazing, what a find. Wonderful character pub with incredible good and great beer, what more could you ask for? Due to complicated circumstances we had a family meal at 4:30 on a Sunday. A bit strange I feared but it was the best meal out for years!
Lovely pub. Very welcoming. Great pub food and a decent choice of beers.
