Hands down the best meal we’ve had in a pub in the UK. Exquisite new menu and drinks superb quality too. Told the owners it was our honeymoon and we were treated wonderfully. Can’t recommend enough if you’re near the area and worth a visit by itself if you’re not.

Hands down the best burger I have ever eaten! The staff are so lovely and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The Rose and portcullis Inn is beyond charming and an excellent place to grab a quick drink or to have a hearty meal. I would definitely recommend booking a table if you're passing through! 10/10
Came on Sunday for a lovely roast dinner. The food was delicious and the staff were really friendly with great service. Fab outdoor area that's doggy friendly! Definitely worth a visit and will be recommending!
Yummy food - came here for Sunday lunch Feb 2020 for daughter’s 10th birthday. Recommend the Somerset pork - lovely Yorkshires, roasters & cabbage as well. Perfect with a pint of Bristol Brewery ale.
