Our small town pharmacy closed this summer and by default we were all switched to Rite aid in Roscommon. I have tried to stick it out and wait for this pharmacy to get things straightened out with all the new customers this business clearly isn't used to handling. This month was my final visit, new pharmacist and A LOT more training for pharmacy technicians are needed before this pharmacy will be successful. I will be driving to a nearby town just to avoid this pharmacy.

I HIGHLY recommend that you go to ANY other pharmacy!! Terrible Service!! I went to pick up medicine 3 days after it was sent in by my doctor, they said they had the prescription just haven't had time to fill it... 3 days!! The next day, I was told they don't have the medicine there... Had they checked the day before that could have been taken care of already. Plain neglectful of their duties. I've been put on hold on the phone for 15 minutes both times and ignored at the drive up window. They really need to be retrained in the proper way to answer a business phone!! I still can't get medicine after a week. It's a good thing it's not a serious medicine that I need (like blood pressure or heart medication, for example) Yikes! Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else and get your medicine within minutes and without all the headaches!!
I’ve never been so disappointed with a pharmacy. The service is incredibly slow. People in the waiting room leave in frustration they take so long. My daughter needed an antibiotic and it’s been 24 hours and it still isn’t available yet for pickup. The pharmacy is so behind - they need another one or two pharmacists working here or something. They say an Rx will be ready by a certain time, but it’s not. Will definitely be avoiding this pharmacy in the future.
So called pharmacist refused to let me purchase needles for an insulin pen. I been doing this for twenty years. NEVER will return to this store.
I'm shocked at the rating that this rite aid has. The people in the pharmacy are always so rude. I now remember why I switched pharmacies in the first place. I'm sure if the rating was just for the pharmacy and not the whole store the would only have one or two stars. Not nice or respectful people that work in the pharmacy at this Rite Aid.
