This locally-owned hardware store has 99.9% of everything you're looking for! Friendly, knowledgeable staff that are eager to help you find whatever it is you're looking for. Unfortunately, they are closing the store. The only good that comes from their closure is their great sales prices! When they close their doors for good, it will be a sad day for us all.

After Bob took over the place it went down hill. Unable to get from one side to the other due to extreme clutter and poor organization. Bob himself never went out of the way to offer any help to me. Dave was the best, it killed me to see him sell it. Good riddance Bob.
I always enjoy getting supplies at Roscoe True Value. Bob and his team are extremely knowledgeable on a variety of home projects where they can help you go down an easier path instead of a DIY nightmare! Renting machinery from them is always nice, great prices and the equipment always runs well. I recently purchased a mower here and was thankful for the extra time the owner spent explaining the different features and comparing models to see what would best fit my needs and yard. It’s awesome having a hardware store like this here locally!
Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. This one lady i spoke with on the phone could not be bothered to get me a price of an item in store. Do your damn job.
Took my patio screen door to get a new screen. Told that'll be 45 and a week and a half. A month and a week later I call "again" and am told it's done and you owe 48 I tell them I have already paid for it and I do have a receipt. Then they tell me we put the plastic screen in, not the metal that I paid for. So I ask will it take a month and some weeks to make it right? I am told that I will have to pay 25 more. Pardon me.. Well we already put time and labor into, so first they ripped me off by putting cheaper screen in than what I paid for and took a month longer than what they said, and then want me to pay more money for their bad service. Do yourself a favor find another hardware store. These places used to be worth paying a little more than the big box stores for their customer service and the way they treated you, but now it's just the mighty dollar and they no they can screw you over and rip customers off. In the near future Roscoe True Value hardware store will be putting up a going out of business sign, and a Menards will go up out there somewhere. One thing I know everyone I talk to and every web site I go to I will say and type stay away from Rip Off True Value in Roscoe. I had to give them one star or else I could not post,
