AMBIENCE We were originally planning to park in front but a long jeepney occupied the entire vacant-looking space. Turns out that parking for customers is behind the establishment. They had about 48 seats inside, a clean and simple layout and balanced temperature from air-conditioning. FOOD Beef Pares was labeled in the menu as good for 2-3 but it seemed for only 1 person. It was more on the saucy than soup side and we usually prefer the latter. Piniritong Pla-pla was typically good and tasted better than the pares in our opinion. Service water was refreshing for our long drive. Garlic Rice had garlic on the top portion only. SERVICE Food got slightly cold because we had to wait for the Garlic Rice, which surprisingly arrived last instead of first. We asked a server about the quantity of our Beef Pares and he said it's really just a lot in the photo. I didn't know what was more painful: the shock value of our serving size or his candid honesty.

Delicious, affordable, family friendly restaurant. Highly recommended if you are around Rosario, Batangas area. Hope they open a branch in Manila or in the metro
