Well this chip shop used to be OK to quite good, but the other day I bought a fish which was clearly not cod or something had gone very badly wrong. It was like skate or something like that where it tastes like it feeds off the sea bed. Anyhow I won't be ever be going again now, instead take an extra 5mins and drive down to the one in the marketplace, slightly more costly but it's nice and chunky cod and tastes fresh.
Has to be the best chippy in Cumbria fish always cooked perfect very generous portions
