DECENT FOOD FOR THE PRICE Menu 33 is the Novotel HQ's inhouse restaurant. It is located on level 1 of the hotel and offers a relatively small range of menu options, with a focus on steaks. Its fine for a business dinner after work but its not the sort of place you'd go for a romantic dinner. the service is fine, the decor is OK but it just doesn't have the right ambiance. We (2 of us) ordered a main each which came with a choice of two side dishes - we both chose the bean and rocket-pear salad. The steak was acceptable but not memorable but overall the serving size was good and the service fairly prompt. The waitress went to the effort of bringing us a sample tasting of two wines to help us decide which to order. People with mobility issue s will be fine as it is all on one level with elevator access from lobby and rooms. Bathroom on the same level.

Nice experience but a one off. Barramundi curry had a very watery taste. Steak wasn’t worth the 44. Desert and mojito were delicious!
What a wonderful fine dining experience !! Exceptional friendly staff a great place to take that special someone for a really nice meal. Magnificent food great selection of food, wines, beer and spirits.
I hosted a dinner here with family and there were 30 guests and I'm glad I chose this place. Each meal was served together that no guests were left waiting. The food was delicious and each course served was well presented. I highly recommend the lamb spare ribs! The restaurant had a beautiful intimate ambience. The staff were so diligent, attentive and professional. The service was flawless and each staff deserved their own recognition.
Very disappointed. Have frequented this restaurant on at least 3 previous occasions and have been very happy....until tonight. It was a pre show set menu with limited choices. Tempura prawns got a tick...next...mushroom risotto...would have made Gordon Ramsay throw it against the floor and send it back...which I did...offered a Moroccan Cauliflower with puy lentils...hmmmm 4 pieces of cauliflower were perfectly cooked...that is where it ends. The lentils were mushy and uninviting. The wine saved the night.
Customer service was great. Food was about average.

We have been regular guests at this restaurant for years and have always had great food and service until recently. They had a complete menu change, which is fine, but appears they also have a new chef who unfortunately cant cook. Last time i had crab risotto which had no crab in it, the rice was crunchy and it tasted overwhelmingly of tarragon. My partners meal was not much better. They recently completely changed the menu again, and now nothing looks appealing in taste or price. A shame that what used to be such a nice restaurant, has so quickly gone down hill.
