Such a fun place to enjoy a daily walk, especially if you enjoy a challenge! Muddy paths, a ford & rivers to cross and acres of slippery forest paths to explore.

The wooded walks are great, but very muddy in places so be prepared, particular on the sloping bits. It was lacking in dog bins - there was one very smelly one at the entrance but otherwise I didn't see any, which is surprising considering how many dog walkers were there. Also the parking situation was a bit of a nightmare, there wasn't enough space, I didn't see any bay markings, and some people did not park considerately. I also didn't see any facilities, so another thing to keep in mind. Very nice place to visit for a walk, but be prepared to park up the road somewhere if you have to drive there.

Great place for dog walks although be aware that tracks are also used by cyclists and horse riders.

Popular woods for families and, dog walking horse riding. If you go off the main paths, can get muddy, and can be difficult to keep your bearings, but still lovely. If your a geocacher, there is a few round the woods, which my kids enjoyed hunting down and discovering when they was young. If there was a criticism, it's that the car park is often full, so people park inconsiderately on the road approaching the car park.

Beautiful place for a stroll, tree climbing and getting dirty, if you want to stay clean while walking your pooches there is a nice dry main track
