Had a great weekend here, something truly different and tranquil. Everything has been thought of for a great experience.

We had a fabulous day here, celebrating our two friends handfasting ceremony. The staff were helpful, and the setting is beautiful. Our only 'gripe' would be to suggest level flooring inside the marquee as elderly (& inebriated) guests struggled to stabilise their chairs etc.
Perfect place for that alternative wedding. Relaxed and informal. Best wedding I have ever attended
We stayed in The Little Island Retreat and boy was it something special. Totally off the grid, secluded and peaceful which makes for a beautiful glamping experience. You have everything you need for a comfortable night away; the inside of the hut is warm and cosy with a comfortable bed, bean bags, cooking equipment and tea, coffee, sugar etc and the outside has a bbq with tables and chairs which overlooks the most scenic lake. Breakfast, dinner and lunch with a view! You have the option to use a glamping toilet which was more that suitable but there is a proper toilet and shower room available. Rob was so helpful and easy to get hold of with any questions we had. I would definitely recommend and will return!
What more can is at about the couple that run this business. They wre a powerhouse they prepare for everything, they know the ins and outs of the whole day. They helped us in several pinches and were always there for guidance. You wont find anyone better
