Friendly, reasonably priced, tasted good and they accepted cards. All rather lovely :)

Not everyone knows fried fish and French fries are actually Gallic in origin. They were brought to Blighty from France by Jewish Hugenot refugees a mere century or two ago. I rather favour the battered sausages and chips from Ron's. They are freshly prepared, tasty, served with courtesy and very English. (The fish is equally excellent and equally good value.) There are nearby public benches and seats you can bless with your presence, and you can add a cup of tea from another stall or simply buy a chilled soft drink together with your lunch at Ron's. You may also pay now with debit cards as well as by cash.
We always go to Ron's if we have chips from the market. Tasty!
great fish and chips but why do they use plastic forks and polystyrene trays!? I was shocked. Just to save 2p. OMG its 2019! My family will go to Lucys until they change.
brilliant place to pop by and grab some chips on the way into the city. quick, friendly service. 5 stars from chunk.
