We just had a beer and a snack when we met our son at DTW Airport for a 4 hour layover. The Capital Bistro & Bar was clean and had outdoor seating. Our server was very nice and pleasant.

The Capital Bistro is connected to the Americas Best Value Inn it makes it convenient to stay at the inn and walk to the restaurant. I do when I stay there. The Bistro has always been very consistent with the food and atmosphere. The food is very good and the staff is polite. What I ordered last year is what I get this year. The menu has a little something for everyone, Soup and Sandwiches to Stakes. Reasonable, Not to pricey for being next to the Airport. The dinning area always clean. We couldn't find anything open at 9 pm... B_cuz of COVID hours and Came across this little place. That was open and was nice enough too serve US Dinner and Drinks Were excellent Our Bartender was so Nice a Friendly But she Didn't have a Name tag on So I can't give her any Big Props by Name But she was Delightful Made US feel comfortable and served US well
Our server Christina was very good. Friendly and courteous. Food was excellent. Lamb shank was the best.
We had a delicious meal in a very relaxed atmosphere. The service staff were excellent and very attentive. Server name on our receipt was Nancy B. If that was our waitress she was amazing. It was a team effort as well everyone was amazing. Would definitely recommend it to others. Attached to the America’s Best Value Inn on Airport road.
