My Packard Bell computer has an Intel i3 processor and was operating Windows 7, which is no longer supported by Microsoft. I thought about purchasing a new computer operating Windows 10 with a 1 terabyte solid state drive(SSD). After checking out Curry's, John Lewis and one or two other retailers I started to think that maybe an upgrade of the existing computer might make more sense. It was in great condition and I felt a bit guilty about consigning it to the rubbish tip...don't move, improve. That's when I paid The Computer Shop in Romsey a visit. To cut long story short, they upgraded my computer to Windows 10 and installed a 2 terabyte SSD for a third of buying new and they did a brilliant job...can't recommend them enough!

Fantastic service - I had a problem with my emails and popped into the office to discuss whether Widenet could help me. They couldn't have been more helpful, arranging for their 'email' specialist to be in the office on a day I was free so that I could bring in my phone and laptop and go through the issues with him. Although this took more than an hour, I was only billed for a one hour session which was excellent value for money. As well as sorting the issues, Aaron explained what he was doing so that I now have a better understanding of how to adjust functions on my email accounts myself. Although some of the email issues were down to my lack of IT knowledge, Aaron was happy to answer my basic questions.

Brought my laptop to Nigel suffering from a virulent virus. Within 24 hours my machine had the virus removed, tuned to run quicker, and was physically cleaned for quieter operation. Also scanned my external drive locating and removing the culprit virus. Overall it was one of the best customer experiences and a friendly service at a modest cost. I cannot rate this business highly enough!
