Sorry to say but as its been closed for the best part of year you'd think serving 6 cyclists would be a joy. But....... you get a cold welcome at the door, told to download an app without any mobile phone signal, orders are incorrect and service takes 30 mins - sorry to say this as its always been a pleasure to stop by, sometimes youve gotta tell the truth for service improvement.

It was very clean, plenty of room between tables. Couldn't fault the service, or the food. Was looking for somewhere to take friends for lunch next week. Think we've just found it
A very pretty place. The veggie breakfast was delicious and an interesting tasty mix. Such a treat to have a variety of veggie options which were all very tempting. I will have to go back to try them all. Staff very friendly. Very clean and COVID precautions very thorough without ruining the experience.
Top notch food and drink in a wonderful setting. I was looking for somewhere to take my parents for a nice lunch. The menu is great and the staff friendly. They adhere well to the current social distancing and are great at dealing with special dietary requirements as one of our group is coeliac. This was my first visit, the steak sandwich I had was fantastic along with a side of garlicky fries. This was finished off with a hot scone with jam and clotted creams, just delicious. I will definitely be back! Can’t wait to explore the menu more!
Very expensive for what you get. The food was fine but not at all worth the price paid. Service was average at best. 7.50 for a child’s burger and a few fries. They don’t even get a drink or some extra vegetables with that. 9 for a few vegetable’s. This would be a fair price if there was a chicken breast with it. The menu does not list all the prices. Had to ask how much a Sunday roast was only to be told 17.95 for a roast beef. I am happy to pay extra if it is worth it, but this was far from it. Sorry but won’t be visiting again.
Lovely place, lovely food. Felt safe plenty of covid measures. Had a roast dinner today but have had vegan and vegetarian before which are also very tasty.
We had booked for four for Sunday lunch with high expectations, but unfortunately the result wasn't too overwhelming this time. First the staff looked too busy to care, sort-of "we don't really care if you dine here or not, others will come". We asked if they still had any roast, they said they would check but nobody ever came back to say either way. After we ordered, the food came relatively quickly, and for three of us it was a good experience, but one meal came with the hardest poached egg I have ever seen (you could play tennis with it) and it took about 15 min to replace, not a sign of "sorry" from the staff. Overall: underwhelming experience and although the location and facility are quite pretty, I'd have to be convinced to give it a second chance.
We went for Brunch with Father Christmas and it was amazing! The food was delish, service brilliant and it felt so magical and festive. Even with the covid precautions! The Father Christmas experience was so lovely and he was the best Father Christmas we've ever seen. Thank you so much for a lovely morning Kimbridge!
