Do not use this man!!! Do not give him any money up front!!! This guy and his sidekick made a complete mess of one of our customer's kitchen. Our Quality Control said that he has never seen such a disgusting example of poor workmanship. How this guy sleeps at night, we really don't know. I see that he is being made bankrupt ... that figures. Total mess and now the whole country is in lock-down this poor customer has to suffer because he has no conscience.
Company runs under the name DC BUILDING & EXTENSIONS LTD. Director a Mr DANIEL CARTER..... \Con man\ money up front from customer. Builders in to do the work. But never paid anyone who had done work on this site. Filed a CCJ through business county court. He has since moved address and have had no response or any kind of knowledgement!! companies house wants to dissolve the company... on hold until October. So have until then to try and get him to pay up!! Stay well clear. Reporting to the TAX MAN FOR TAX EVASION.
Very poor. Hired to screed kitchen floor and the job was so bad the vinyl could not be laid. Carter left two young children alone in car while he completed job. He would not answer my calls or come and look at floor. I was told the work wasn’t guaranteed as I had paid cash! I had to pay to have it put right, I reported to trading standards who said they would keep details on file in case there were more cases. I also took out County Court Judgement but wasn’t paid. The bailiffs were unable to seize assets as the business was operating from a council flat and There were no assets. Beware.
Avoid this man like plague. He is not recognised builder locally and well known for his infamous reputation as cowboy of cowboys. He is more than willing to steal your money by doing nothing.
