Had it not been for Dr Das at Alma Rd, I might not be alive. He discovered my breast cancer and got the ball rolling very quickly for the consequent specialist intervention and urgent surgery. which saved my life. We've had Alma Rd as our family surgery for years and they've never failed us.

Rude receptionists who have not learnt basic customer relations. These people waste your time as if you have endless hours to spend waiting for them by phone and on visit. The NHS is not free we pay billions for it and expect a service in line with the way we are expected to behave. Can we turn up 2 hrs late? 2 weeks wait for a phone appointment which is then 4 hrs late without apology and still then they do not give you the time to properly discuss the issue at hand
I joined this doctor's surgery despite all the negative feedback I read, and personally, this is the worst doctors surgery I have belonged to. I reluctantly had to leave my old surgery to join this surgery, last year after moving to the area. Every experience I have had has been a frustrating one. There are always long wait times on the telephone and long wait times for telephone appointments with the doctor. In my experience, the doctors are very reluctant to prescribe any medication or make any referrals, it's usually a case of 'wait and see'. I would not recommend joining this surgery if you can help it.
Awful surgery. Doctor put the phone down on me, leaving me with no where to turn when I had a painful condition due to me recently moving out of the area (3 miles) and not having a new surgery yet, ended up having to go to hospital. Disgusting service and my new surgey said thats an utter disgrace they would treat current patients that way. Go to another.
Love Alma Road Surgery! Yes, they are busy, but I have found all staff helpful and sympathetic. Lovely lady answered the phone today, and was so kind and efficient. Usually get to see your own doctor, which seems to be a rarity at other surgeries. Thank you to everyone that works there.
