Loved this place as a kid and flew from 'Stapleford and back' some years ago in my mate's Cessna. Still holds an attraction for some strange reason even though I'm now in my 60's. I pass the aerodrome in my car quite regularly so must pop in again one of these days.

I had 5 vouchers from virgin experience and I booked them with this aerodrome .the flights were cancelled due to bad weather and they did not even bother to inform me about the cancellation. The customer service is very poor. People are very rude...do not recommend this aerodrome at all...

Well worth dropping in for some tea to watch the planes and helicopters take off and land. The little guy loved it and so did my son.
