As someone who does not have a clue about music, and wanting to buy a guitar for my son, i found the staff at PMT to be very friendly, and knowledgeable. I had sourced a number guitars on eBay, but so glad i did not buy anything until I visited the shop. After 30 min with the knowledgeable staff, I did not want to spend my money anywhere else but this store. It was old fashioned good service, by staff who knew their business.

The staff are really good at what they do, they know a lot and they're happy to help. I came here a few times last year looking to buy a guitar, and whilst the specific one I wanted wasn't in stock (It was a San Dimas Charvel in white, out of stock everywhere except from one guitar store up North), I have to say the service made me want to buy from these guys. On another occasion, I was looking to buy some studio headphones, and Matthew chopped the price by a third, as a price-match. If you are looking to get into guitar or need pretty much anything musical, go here and speak to someone, they'll know what you want even if you don't yourself.

Me and a friend drove to Romford from Bristol for a day out looking round some music shops. It is a great shop, better than the one here in Bristol as a lot bigger. Nice staff and happy to help unlike dv247 round the corner ... The guy serving us the time we were there was a guy called Tristan (I think)? really genuine guy and knew his stuff :-)
