Open Impact is an innovative social start-up, it was born out of the encounter of the diverse experience and competencies coming from the Academic, social entrepreneurship and digital business fields. Combining digital culture and social impact, we enable new ways of creating shared value. In other words, WHAT DO WE DO? Our scope of action is twofold. 1. We guide foundations, investment funds and the PA throughout the path for the measurement, understanding and management of social impact. 2. We ease the processes toward project design, business development and accountability of social enterprises and organisations with a social purpose at the core of their activities. HOW DO WE DO IT? Through a digital platform we give our audience the chance to be aware of national and international benchmarks, with the aim of facilitating the communication with both stakeholders and possible financing channels. But above all, WHY DO WE DO THIS? Open Impact believes that systemic change resides in the setting up of an open source ecosystem of competences and knowledge around the topic of social impact. The starting point for Open Impact is in the value of Data, which has the power to allow decision makers to move toward solutions increasingly “impact driven”.
