I love the Franklin, they were very busy tonight and had only 2 waitresses. We still revieved our food in a timely manner, and it was fantastic. I got the strip steak special Mid rare cooked to perfection. Their greens are also highly recommended. I get them extra spicy, but they have a nice bit of kick without the extra.
Great homemade sauce. Large menu selection for lunch and dinner. Just about anything I've ever had off the menu has been great!!! A favorite food of mine is chicken francaise. However, this restaurant's version is not up to par. The chicken has breading on it, and the sauce is very salty with only lemon flavor, not very appetizing. They make a lot of desserts and they can't be beat!! Surcharge to use a credit card.
Good, but can be inconsistent at times. A locals favorite and a huge menu. Sometimes menu items are not available. Cozy atmosphere. Big portions. Good prices.
Oh my Gracious! First of all let me just say the service was incredible! Our waitress was so sweet, kind and helpful! We ordered Broccoli Francaise! We never heard of it before. We expected little pieces. The pieces were huge! It was so good we couldn't stop eating it! We could have just had that. When our meals came stuffed shells and Chicken Zachary we realized that HUGE portions must just be the norm in Italian restaurants. I had the Chicken Zachary and it was absolutely delicious! I love the chicken with broccoli, mushrooms and cherry peppers served over Utica greens with a rich brown sauce. Simply delicious!
