Roma Livestock Exchange is a very large cattle selling complex. Catering for prime, store and stud cattle sales. The design has carefully considered animal welfare and the design, pens, troughs, laneways, gates and catwalks are very animal friendly. There is a good canteen there to meet the human needs. All in all an excellent complex. I was at the Trails West Texas Longhorn sale in late March 2019.

Great source of information for those interested in cattle farming and alike. Sadly we weren’t able to see the auction but will certainly visit next time there is one. Auction days are Tuesday’s and Thursday’s and yours are available these days. Can not wait to come back.

We had a visit on a Wednesday so not much going on. There is a visitor center with videos and information boards to read. We had a walk around the yards. Worth a look around if you are in the area.

What a great setup, was great to be able to walk around and see the size of the operation, can't wait to return and see it in action. Highly recommend.
