Another of the amazing historical museums in Rome. The highlights are definitelly beautiful 2,000-year-old wall paintings from ancient houses, including paintings from the house of Livia, the wife of Emperor Augustus. But you will also see lots of Greek and Roman statues, mosaics and other ancient objects. It is also worth to visit the nearby Diocletian's Baths (same ticket), where you can see, among other things, the oldest written documents from Rome. And the buildings of the largest Roman baths, are impressive as well.

The museum puts one of the best information plates that I ever seen. Every statue and artifact is well lighted and well maintained. And the staff was really helpful, patient and nice
At the ticket counter we were told that we should have bought the tickets online. It felt like as they did us a favour, selling us a ticket at the ticket counter. Museum is worth a visit but two floors were closed. Ticket seemed to be valid for two other locations so it's not a bad deal.
Wonderful collection of Ancient rome. Masterpieces of Bronze statues, Marbles, coins, Frescos and mosaics. If you buy or reseve the Ticket, you can see another 3 National Museum of Rome (Totaly 4) 1. Palazzo Massimo alle terme 2. Palazzo Atemps 3. Terme Diocleziano 4. Crypta Balbi Now is 12 euros and reservasion is a Must. Anotger point: Cloakroom is not supervised. Enjoy your visit.
One of the amazing museum in Rome I loved all details. how the arrangements of the place and where to go. The quite and cleaning. They have unique things. Only one thing they need a tour guide or a book with all details so you can know more about all.
