Great information about the etruscan time in Italy. Visit the jewellery upstairs. You won't be disappointed

Great museum with numerous very high-quality archaeological treasures which would exceed your expectations. The descriptions on the wall are all very detailed. You can easily lose a day there. There is also a very nice garden. The only drawback I would say is that the audioguide is outdated and contains very short and limited information. You'd be better off to skip it and just read the descriptions.

The museum is nice, however it is not a marvelous collection and exhibition is below Italian standards. 2 hours would be enough. Since the museum is in a 16th century villa that had been inhabited by a few popes, the structure is beautiful. Garden is picturesque.

Beautiful museum, inside a priceless treasure of Etruscan archeological findings. Amazing art made by amazing culture that disappeared.. Regarding the visit, I recommend to take a guided tour for enjoying the exhibition, this way it's much more interesting. Kids will also will find this museum very interesting but again with a guide. Kids don't pay a ticket but normal price is 8 euro. To my opinion that 2 euros less would be a correct price. The neoclassical Vila itself Giulia is charming and has a splendid garden with benches to relax.

The Etruscan Museum located in the stunning Villa Giulia with perfectly kept gardens is considered a treasure trove of pre-Roman artifacts. It is certainly amazing to imagine anything you see in the museum dates as far back as 600 BC. The location is a bit out of the regular tourist route and therefore quite on the best of days. If you are in contemplation mood there is no better spot for it then on a stone bench in front of the reconstructed Etruscan temple in the courtyard.
