Nice little restaurant run by a nice, local family. We were served by both the father and daughter. Daughter said, \the food you get here is the same food I eat at home\ so you know your getting a legit \home cooked\ Italian meal. I had the lasagna with Bolognese filling. It was very tasty and the pasta noodles were thin and soft. Very good lasagna and unlike anything I've ever had in the US. The portion size of the lasagna was on the smaller side so you may want to get an app or a second course to go with it. Tiramisu is also very good! She reiterated that all their recipes are her mom's recipes. Prices are decent as well

Really good experience! Great little restaurant ran by a father/daughter. We really enjoyed our carbonara and terimasu. Prices extremely reasonable as well. 8 for most pizza/pasta dishes.
Suggested by the concierge of our hotel our group decided to give la Capitale a try as it was late and we were looking for some place close to eat dinner. What a wonderful surprise! Owned and operated by a local family, the food was amazingly delicious and the hosts were gracious and very accommodating. Highly recommend this place!
This restaurant had real Italian food. My husband had a cold so we came here because they had soup. He loved his soup. I ordered the gnocchi and they were cooked perfect. Fluffy and pillowy to perfection. We also ordered a pizza which was the perfect roman pizza with just enough crunch. The hose wine was incredible and cheap!! Great prices all around. The décor was lacking but no biggie. Would go back!
