We were in many restaurants in Italy and in many other places. This one standout... Best Cannelloni I ever had. I loved the old time family atmosphere. We had great service with the white beard gentleman as well. Get the Cannelloni Alla Mantovanni.

Amazing food and hospitality! Everything fresh and properly Italian! I always take my friends here when they visit Rome!

We have been in Italy for 11 out of 12 days and this was the best meal we have had. This was a family run restaurant from what appeared to be 3 generations. The server, Santee, the son, was so helpful and perfect on recommendations for what we should eat. Each meal was so good that we were licking the plate. The wine was a perfect pair with the food and the dessert was an amazing fit at the end. We had a seafood and pasta dish with clams, mussels, and shrimp. Perfecto!!! Then we had the spaghetti and bacon that was cooked to perfection, followed with veal marsala that melted in our mouth. Then we had the affogado, that was the cherry on top. The entire family was so nice and pleasant to talk to. Thanks for the perfect ending to our wonderful trip to Italy. If we make it back to Rome we will surely come back here.

BAD EXPERIENCE. I am Italian. I don't understand all these 5* comments at all. Water gllasses smell bad. The bread is not fresh. I had a portion of bucatini all' amatriciana: almost uncooked. The house (red) wine that they refuse to say the type, is basically undrinkable... 1 spaghetti (bucatini) 1 glass of house wine 1/2 liter water 1 espresso 18 euros.

Absolute wonderful atmosphere, genuine and tasteful homecooked food in a 3 generation family run restaurant. And the granddaughter/waitress was lovely!
