The etiquette codes are not only for behavior at the table, they also include how you behave with people that said: The restaurant is small, the food is within what is expected of an Asian restaurant but the behavior of the waiters and the host leaves a lot to say. Working in a “upscale and contemporary” restaurant and having no manners is like eating at a Fast Food.

The misa and edamame are standard, the lina roll was good, we also order the Wild tartar (spicy tune was really good and the salmon was bad), to finish the rainbow roll was really good. Rolls are small size (perfect for a bite). Custom made veggie roll was good. Order more than one roll, portion are small for my standards.

This place is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in Chicago, especially for the price. There are definitely better sushi spots, but this one is the most affordable for the quality. I love that they have so many options for rolls, and the shumai is really good too! They wait is never too long, the service is always good, and before the pandemic it was BYOB! Thank you Rollapalooza!

This is the best sushi place you can go, and I have been here so many times before. Fresh sashimi and love California roll

I have been eating here for a few years and the sushi is always excellent as well as the service. Everyone who works here is very polite and accommodating. Highly recommend the Meguan
