Great bar. You can't call yourself a MST student until you've spent an evening here. The beer specials are great, and the pool tables are the best in town.
Cheap drinks, friendly bar-tenders, no door on the men's restroom. It's a good dive/college bar experience. Lot's of character here. It can get pretty hot in the summer, and cool in the winter, but all in all it's the best bar in Rolla.
The Grotto and the Top Hat are (were) the epitome of the Rolla 90's bar scene. After you have been there a few times you will understand this is a friendly, little weird, drinking establishment. Always had friendly employees. My best experiences were always afternoons and early evening, when it wasn't packed with people.
A well hidden place for outsiders, but the perfect hangout spot for the locals. Once you climb down those creaky stairs and step on the sticky floor, you know you are at Grotto! Super cheap beer, college crowd and 3 pool tables. Bartenders are amazing unless you throw up and you are thrown out! One of my favorite memories from Rolla, it's the best you could get from this place. If you have a couple years in Rolla, start a mug at Grotto, finally getting it after buying those countless pitchers and street painters ( do try this shot), would feel like a bigger achievement than your degree. You can smoke down here, and it's a fire hazard, but I love this place.

Cheap beer. Obviously a dive bar, but good if that's what you're looking for.
