Le fort de Rorhbach ou Fort Casso a marqué l'histoire de La ligne Maginot en 1940. Aujourd'hui l'association qui le restaure et vous le fera visiter à fait et fait encore un travail énorme pour vous ouvrir les 3 blocs de combat. Pour la visite nous avons eu le Président de l'association. Un homme extraordinaire par son savoir, son dynamisme, son écoute, sa gentillesse, sa simplicité vous fera peut-être visiter le Fort d'une voix forte et très claire que ce soit en allemand et en francais pour que chacun ne perde aucun de ses mots. C'est véritablement un amoureux de son fort et de notre histoire si particulière, celle de la Moselle et de la Ligne Maginot.

Really great visit. We also saw other Maginot locations, and this was byfar the most interesting and best experience.
Florin gave us a tour in English. He was very passionate about the Fort and I learned a huge amount of history. The bunker itself was well restored and I commend the group who do the volunteer work. Well worth a visit
You need to book your tour and we had the chance to have Ludovic for our guide, a passionate member of the association with deep knowledge of the fort and is actively renovating it. It was incredible to see how much was renovated: the rooms are brought back to life, along with the different motors and even small details. Highly recommend!
