Was promised 2 day shipping on a console and paid for it online, the guy told me a day to process than 2 days for shipping. Just to wait 5 days and on top that when you guarantee 2 day shipping do not lie to your customers okay!! You are going to just piss us all off and not want your products, regardless if it’s cheaper or not! I would rather spend a little extra at Best Buy than to come back here! This hasn’t been my first encounter either with GameStop doing this! If I could rate them no stars or negative stars I would!!!!!

Playstation announced the PS5 price and release date at 4:00 PM Central time yesterday, 9/16/2020, and indicated pre-orders would begin on 9/17. This Gamestop closes at 7:00 PM. At 6:30 PM I called and asked an employee about the pre-order situation. I was explicitly told that there would be no on-line sales and that the store had a limited number of pre-orders that they would be selling on a first come first serve basis beginning at 12:00 NOON today. He said 12:00 PM and I confirmed he meant NOON which is when the store opens. He said if I wanted one I better be 1st in line, which I was. When I arrived at the store at 11:30 AM I foudn a sign on the door that said Pre-Orders were sold out. I couldn't believe it, so I waited until Noon when the store opened and went inside to ask. Sure enough, the employee told me they were sold out and had sold out the night before. When I confronted him about what I was told he said he doesn't work at this store normally and only knows what he was told. My mother-in-law went to the Gamestop in Malvern, AR at noon today too, and she was able to pre-order a PS5 for my son, which makes me think this Gamestop sold all its pre-orders out the back door to employees, friends, and family. What I was told prevented me from exploring other avenues to secure a pre-order and caused me to waste several hours of my time. Needless to say, I am not happy and will never be doing business with Gamestop ever again. Also, while I was there I saw 2 free to play PS4 games (Destiny 2 and NBA 2k20) being sold for . I have been a loyal Gamestop customer for more than a decade, but I am done.

I am what you would call an uninformed gamer. I don't understand the terms or all the additional content. The people at Gamestop keep me feeling happy about my purchase and always let me know of things to come or ways to bundle.
