After driving for nearly 2 hours with a motorcycle in the back, we arrived at Gebben. We didn't know anything about the dealership, or Andre Gebben but upon arrival we realised this place was clearly professional. The motorcycle we emailed about had a sticker on it that it was under reservation as to make sure we wouldn't arrive for nothing. Upon arrival we were greeted but had to wait just a bit. Upon mentioning we were there for the Honda Rebel 450cc they had for sale the owner, Andre Gebben, immediately looked at me and said it must be for me as it would be the size bike he would look at himself due to our shared height. I really liked the comment about the height. I did research prior to arriving, knowing Honda designed this particular bike for female drivers. But he never mentioned it being a \girl bike\, just that it was lower build and therefore I would fit on it. This was highly appreciated by me, as I've had more misogynistic comments made at other dealerships. All riders are treated equally at Gebben Motoren, that's for certain. The Honda Rebel 450cc from 1991 that we took home with us was in excellent condition, including saddle bags and a nice screen in the front. Prior to arriving at Gebben, we had sent pictures of the motorcycle we would like to trade and based on those pictures a price of 750 euro's was agreed. However, at the moment of the sale there was a bit of haggling and only 500 euro's was offered. Eventually we came to an agreement of 600 as we also bought the Honda on the spot and it seemed that the staff was truly happy to help me buy my first motorcycle. I really hope not to return to Gebben anytime soon but that's only because of the distance, and because I hope the motorcycle keeps running smoothly.
