Exquisite experience! Does feel like being at a Michelin star restaurant. The restaurant is a part of Van der Valk Hotel Het Arresthuis, which opened its doors in Roermond in 2011. The restaurant is named after Roermond bishop Damianus (1724-1793). There is a Damianz menu and more exclusive chef's menu, offering from 4 to 6 sets of dishes. Going even for 4 dishes leaves you full and fully satisfied. Each dish is a firework of tastes and there was nothing we did not like or could not finish. A real gem of Roermond, just a short walk from Roermond outlet. Well worth the visit. Plan to spend at least 2-3 hours to finish the whole set and a dessert/cheese plate they offer at the end of the set.

Mooie beleving voor een avondje luxe uit eten.
Geweldig, dikke 5 verdiend! Elk gerecht is een kunstwerk en de bijpassende wijnen maken het geheel Fabuleus. De bediening is goed en erg leuk in de omgang. Wij komen hier zeker terug en blijven dan wederom slapen in het Arresthuis, wat een geweldig lang weekend Roermond! Bedankt!
Ein perfekter Abend im Damianz ! Da es der zweite Besuch dort war, lag die Erwartungshaltung ziemlich hoch. Wir wurden sehr gut eingestimmt auf das wunderbare Essen mit kreativen Grüßen aus der Küche. Das Auge isst bekanntlich mit und erneut hat der Geschmack die sehr ansprechende Optik übertroffen. Ein großes Kompliment für dieses hervorragende Menü! Wir freuen uns auf das nächstes Mal.
