I have to say, no one likes taking their child to the doctor but Pecan Tree and Dr. Benson make it a much better experience than it otherwise would be. There have been a few instances where my son needed an appointment same day and they have always been able to sneak him in. I could go on and on about Dr. Benson, but I'll keep it short. He is exceptional. So knowledgeable, personable, very intelligent, and takes the time to explain things and answer questions. He never is in a rush to move on to the next patient. He knows his stuff and makes my son feel very comfortable in what would ordinarily be an uncomfortable environment. We have moved around quite a bit and my son has seen many different Pediatricians, but none even come close in comparison to Doctor Benson. Keep up the great work!

This office claims to offer \Saturday Sick Visits\, the website stating that you can call as early as 8:30am to make an appointment same day. I called at 8:35am and sat on hold for 38 minutes waiting dor someone to answer my call. The girl that finally answered my call was hateful and rude, telling me that they don't offer same day sick visits for new patients, which would have been fine, but I explained to her that we had just moved to the area and didn't have a pediatrician yet. Her response was \then take him to Urgent Care\. I tried explaining that my insurance doesn't cover urgent care, and she just replied \ok?\. I finally asked to speak to someone else, and she gave me the umber\ for the office manager. When attempting to call to leave a message for the office manager, I discovered that the number she gave me was not a working number. Wow. 1. The girl has absolutely no customer service skills, 2. She's obviously not a mother, 3. She should not be around sick children if she doesn't know how to treat people. Rediculous.

Office is well-organized & efficient with a warm touch! Staff, nurses, & doctors are knowledgeable, courteous, & kind. We see Dr. Casey Drake and she has been wonderful & understanding to me, a first time Mom! Pros: We are always seen to a room quickly! (Different rooms for well newborns vs sick). You don't have to sit in a waiting room with sick kids. Adequate time with doctors who listen & answer your questions! You can call the nurse's warm-line for questions/recommendations during office hours. Saturday sick visits if needed.

My son has gone here since he was born. I’ve always wanted a relationship with a doctor that I could just call directly (small practice), but this isn’t the place for it. However, they make up for it in most areas. The nurses are always a phone call away during business hours. Dr. Wood is good, and I love the fact that she doesn’t try to push me to quit breastfeeding like some doctors. I also love that she isn’t big in prescribing a million different kinds of unnecessary medications.

Our kids love seeing their doctors! Dr. Drake is fantastic with our girls and Dr. Benson is just as wonderful with our teenage boys. They are both easy to talk to and really listen to the parents and the kids.
