My son (8th grade) has dyscalculia and struggles with math. We drive in from Commerce, TX for him to get tutoring at Mathnasium in Rockwall 3 days per week. He is actually looks forward to going to tutoring which is surprising with how he feels about his school. He shows me "cool" tricks one of the guys shows him to solve problems. We missed an appointment due to traffic and I was surprised by how disappointed he was about it. I highly recommend Mathnasium in Rockwall.

My 14 year old son has been struggling in math and this was my last resort. He just doesn't like the subject so he doesn't try. When I told him two weeks ago that after school he needed to go take a test at Mathnasium after school he responded with, "I don't want to go to stupid Mathnasium." So no need to say but he was not excited. He took the test on Monday and had his first session on Wednesday. When he left on Wednesday he was so excited and said that he had a great time and wants to go every Wednesday. The next time he went he said the same thing! He's actually started to invite friends that are struggling in math telling them how much fun he has there and wants to continue attending all through high school. Thanks to Mathnasium and their team for showing my son that math and learning can be fun!
After barely six months here my daughter not only has a new love for Math, but has confidence and is excelling in her dual credit Trig class at community college. I never dreamed she would consider majoring in Math! Mathnasium helped fill in all her gaps and took her to a whole new level. Thank you so much for helping my daughter shine!
My child absolutely hated math a few months ago. She would come home in tears. I was hesitant to bring her to this place at first but now I am so grateful I did. They make math as painless as possible for the kids (and let's be honest it's hard enough for us adults!) and even have a reward system to encourage the children. It is very clear that the owners care about my daughters education and hire teachers who can explain the concepts she isn't learning in school. Now my daughter BEGS me to let her stay to do more math! Her grade in school has improved and she doesn't come home crying. Worth every penny.
The people at Mathnasium have made an incredible difference in our granddaughter's understanding of math. She was so far behind it was affecting more than that subject. Mrs. Becky came up with a customized plan and now our granddaughter is making huge strides! My daughter loves going to Mathnasium. She loves math and this is just a bonus so she stays ahead of the game. It will take stress off in the future because they fill in the gaps of basic building blocks that aren’t taught in school since the curriculum is so focused on the STAAR test.
Our girls really enjoy their time at Mathnasium. They are building confidence and learning so much! We have tried other tutoring places in Rockwall, but never saw the results we have noticed in a few weeks.
So we started our son back to the Rockwall Mathnasium before my son entered the 9th grade. We knew he need some extra help and wanted to make sure he didn't fall behind once school started. I can't say enough good things about Rockwall Mathnasium. My son is now coming home with A's and B's..He is more confident in his testing and at math. I cant thank them enough for such a wonderful job they do at teaching my son math! We will keep out son with them as long as possible. The hours are also very accommodating for working parents. If your child is weak in math or just needs that extra help..I promise you will not be disappointed.
