I was really sick so I went to my primary doctor Jay Moore on March 8, 2019. While I was there I was given a test with a cotton swab in my mouth to see if I had a bacteria infection. Moving forward on April 25th a month and 17 days from having the test I went to Urgent Care and the doctor asked how did they treat my infection I had in my mouth. Of course I was totally unaware and surprised. So I asked, “What infection, only to find out that I had an bacteria infection for over a month ago and this quote on quote Dr. Jay Moore never said a word. I couldn’t get out of Urgent Care fast enough, I immediately called the doctors office to find out what kind of infection I was suppose to be diagnosed with. I also wanted to know how could something like this slip through the cracks, for a doctor to take bloodwork and test a patient to find out if he had an infection and then do nothing about it. Do you know what Dr. Jay Moore’s answer was “ I’m sorry I don’t know how this happened it was all my fault.” As if I didn’t already know that was the case. Then he says “Let me prescribe you with some antibiotics for your infection.” 48 days later, I THINK NOT!!!!! I don’t trust him to prescribe or care for any of me or my family health needs, or anyone else. Hope this was helpful... Do yourself a favor stay away from Jay Moore!!!!

Dr Moore isn't a very good listener. This has caused me to have to make numerous repeat visits. As an example, I explained to him that I had a tick bite, was in the woods frequently, had pain in my joints and suspected that I had Lyme disease. He neglected to order the Lyme test, and I had to go back to have more blood drawn. It turned out that i did have Lyme. Another example is that I've repetitively mentioned my back, hip and knee pain, but he keeps reverting me to back only doctors, resulting in me having to make additional appointments and visits. Given how difficult it already is to find doctors who take my insurance, this additional time consumption, based on a lack of listening skills on the part of Dr Moore, is supremely frustrating.
