This Vet Center acted recklessly when a veteran who had assaulted me and held his family hostage went to the Center hours after the event. They did not get a psychiatric evaluation, did not contact DCFS for the children and instead hid and covered up for the veteran who continues with his ongoing domestic violence. They will not return calls or address the matter. Dangerous dealings for them to ignore this domestic violence.

A great place for hurting veterans to find help and support. Great staff, nice clean facilities.
Not directly part of VA medical services, lots of programs and other help available including readjustment counseling.
