Rockford's own Greek Orthodox church. Services are in both Greek and English. The hymns are amazing in the original Greek and the English translation is there so you can see what's being sung. In addition hymns that are repeated are sung alternating between Greek and English. Services are the traditional Orthodox Devine Liturgy on Sundays as well as various other special services throughout the year. The Greek Fest every fall is a perfect opportunity to get some Greek culture and food and brings downtown to life with music and dancing.

A magnificent orthodox church in the middle of Rockford. Upon entering the church you are greated with magnificent icons of our savior, Jesus Christ, and icons of the various Saints. Fr. Peter Sarolas has the pleasure of leading this church. He is a good man that is friendly and knowledgeable of the Orthodox faith. This Church is also host to the Annual \Rockford Greek Fest\, which is open to everyone free of charge. Just another fine example of a splendid Orthodox Church in the Rockford region. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
