You know, sometimes when, with hunger and excited anticipation, things don't quite match up to expectations, one regrets making a negative, knee-jerk reaction post. This last week I posted one of those, so I have deleted it. It was unfair and I apologize for complaining publicly. I should have simply spoken to the staff. The Rockfish is probably the best chipper in the North East of Scotland and has presented nothing less than excellence for many years. From my experience one has to travel a long, long way to find anything better.

Great fish and chip shop. We usually stay in Banff and always have a walk over to get our chip suppers from here. Unfortunately you can't eat in at the moment due to stupid covid.
Absolutely the best Chicken Maryland and Fish and Chips ever ...Batter is so crisp . Highly recommended
Excellent quality food and service! I preordered and I would recommend this to avoid long waits in this busy chippy as it is so good! Please remember that the staff are still working under COVID 19 guidelines they have done an amazing job so far helping their customer stay safe! Thank you Val and James
