Went for lunch on a Saturday. Had a good feeling about it as it looked pretty busy. Both ordered a simple baguette with fillings and was told it might be a 30 minute wait. No problem! Had a drink and was willing to take a rest after a long walk. 40 minutes later still not baguette. Staff seemed pretty clueless about what they're meant to be doing. Maybe the lad in the cap could mumble less... After asking about our food we were told we only ordered the 1 baguette and 2 cokes. My SO asked for ham and cheese but was told they had no ham, she then opted for the same as me (chorizo and pepperoni). Apparently the cashier was thinking of other things and just left the 1 order on there. Might visit again if we can be proven the place runs smoothly. If pizza is cooking then maybe do the simple bits in between? 50 minutes for a baguette was a tad steep.

Amazing service from Joanna and her team at Rockface cafe. Serving 100 hungry and thirsty cyclists before they struggle up Cheddar Gorge on a Saturday morning is no easy task, but the service was slick, and the coffee and cakes were fantastic. They even opened early to accommodate us. Loads of outdoor space and a great location. We'll be back very soon.
