I really wanted my fish & chips to be tasty, waited all day for it. Sadly it was not. I'm from Glasgow and trust me I know what good fish & chips should be like. Chips are not proper fish & chip shop chips, instead over done and tasteless. The owner in response to a previous post said it was deliberately twice cooked based on a Blumenthal recipe. To me they taste like mass produced frozen chips over cooked. The fish batter wasn't particularly nice, and the fish was overdone. Argh! Very sad.
