What is there to say, small place, few tables, amazing time. The two go hand in hand. Sat in that room you have the opportunity to experience the kitchen and everyone else enjoying the food alongside you. What great British wholesome dishes. From lamb, squash, green sauce to a beef pie with suet crust this place is a treasure trove of wonderful dishes that will not only leave you feeling full but also wholesome and happy. The last time I was there I had the pear crumble as a special and my god it was insane. I always can’t wait to come back. Thank you Rochelle (you guys are the best)

Very nice hidden restaurant with simple but original menu. The food was just great, we tried almost everything and all of it was on spot in terms of flavour and portion size. Great atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. The only downside was the waiting time. But I will always be happy to come back.

A serene and peaceful oasis away from the humdrum of Shoreditch. Unpretentious, simple yet delicious cooking that relies on high quality of the seasonal ingredients. Down to earth and friendly staff and very good value when compared to other comparable eateries nearby. Go on a sunny day if you can as it's a real treat, one of the most beautiful and calming outdoor spots in all of central London.

Lovely relaxing courtyard wine bar, with delicious food too. We shared a bottle of French Rosé, plus olives and fava bean mash with ciabatta. Very moreish. It is easy to socially distance, the staff are careful, and do temperature spot checks.

The worst restaurant experience I've had in London. I do appreciate simple food and rustic style, and enjoy the places that have that approach, but what we've got at Rochelle was absolutely a joke Probably we got unlucky with the menu seton the day we visited, but what we've got was an absolute joke for a price we've paid. An un-skinned chicken with broth and boiled carrots that look absolutely unappealing for 18 quid and simple boiled potatoes on a side with overly salted mushroom toast. Not helpful and unfriendly staff, this place is not worth half the money it is asking. Everything - taste, value for money, staff and overall experience do not deserve more than one star.
