So the best thing about this place is the atmosphere it creates with the lightning and background sounds/music. It creates this eerie mysterious atmosphere. It also has a delightfully diverse mix in the art pieces, but the cool thing is they switch some pieces around so that if you visit again it's still an enjoyable visit. Definitely worth visiting, also I recommend visiting at earlier hours because then there are less people and the museum is amazing when there are barely any other visitors.

Not really my cup of tea but really fun nonetheless. I suggest the underground area but probably bring a small cardigan as it'll get quite chilly. Otherwise it's quite fun with the interactive sculptures just not the type of art I'm into.

Small museum with a small price, with excellent exhibits. Absolutely worth the detour. If you've been looking for a museum that finally pays tribute to the talented artists in science-fiction and fantasy, look no further... They renew the exhibits every year in March, and I know I'll come back for sure.

A beautiful museum in a unique setting. The castle is amazing and the art inside simply breathtaking. We did not know what to expect and ended up staying much longer than planned, totally charmed and mesmerised by the utter beauty of the art surrounding us.

A very unique museum dedicated to fantasy art. It's a small museum but a fascinating one

A beautiful and interesting museum in a great location. Definitely worth a look round as it is unlike anything I have ever seen before. If you are a Science Fiction fan this will appeal. I never knew what was coming next, which was an awesome feeling and kept me guessing! I can see why people might buy a year's pass, if I lived there I think I certainly would. This may not be a good place to bring younger children, I think it might be scary for quite a lot of them, and due to walking up and down winding stairs it might be difficult. This place is also not wheelchair accessible unfortunately.

Very disappointed to have driven 45 minutes especially to visit this museum. Then to find it closed is very annoying. It is advertised as open on your leaflet and website. Nothing on the website to let us know you would be closed today as we checked before we left. A lovely black cat, with white feet has snuggled up to me on the bench outside the closed museum to keep me company while I write this. Helped with the frustration. Update: we returned in early October & really enjoyed our visit. A museum like no other with something different & unique to seek around every corner. My 1 star is now 5 stars.

Spectacular! Don't miss this. It's utterly amazing. Quite a small museum/gallery, but you could spend a good amount of time here as the exhibits are so absorbing. Don't hesitate... just go and see for yourself.
