Our son started with Robin's Nest in August, just after turning 1 year old. Still being in the middle of the pandemic, it was a very worrying time for us to be sending him to daycare. We had visited numerous daycares however Robin's Nest stood out from the rest and within the first 5 minutes of meeting Emma and Victoria, my husband and I had already made our minds up. Since day one our son has loved his time here. Every time he is dropped off/picked up he has a big smile on his face. We are all treated like part of the family and the communication between our family and the staff has been excellent. The girls go above and beyond and I can honestly say we have never once worried when leaving our son in their care. We know he is so well looked after and is thriving. Meals are cooked fresh daily and the menu is unbelievable. My husband even jokes that he might call in himself because his son is getting better fed than he is. The facilities are excellent. My son loves being outside and theres no better place than Robin's Nest for him to explore. They have a massive outdoor play area which is very well maintained. In terms of development, our son is coming on in leaps and bounds - he's saying so many new words and his personality is really starting to shine through. He loves all the girls in Robin's Nest and we love that they put so much time into him and really take an interest in his development and get just as excited as we do when he says a new word or meets a new milestone. We cannot recommend Robin's Nest enough - if you're looking for a family orientated daycare who are very hands on and knowledgeable in their field then we would definitely suggest making an appointment.

Robin's Nest is an outstanding nursery and my two children love attending. Their rooms are geared perfectly to the children's needs and are fun and stimulating. The staff are friendly and warm and will look after your child in a caring and loving way. The food the children enjoy is second to none and is well balanced, nutritious and delicious. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. Robin's Nest, thank you for everything you do for us.

My children attended Robins Nest for 7 years. It is a fantastic nursery. The staff have the best interests of the children. My children were very well looked after and happy and settled when i picked them up. The Hunter family who own it are a genuinely lovely family. They went over and above to help me out on many occasions. I would highly recommend the nursery if you want peace of mind you can guarantee the children will be safe and happy. In a home from home environment.

Exceptional 10 out of 5-Stars Our family has been part of the Robin’s Nest Family for over 8 years. Our 3 children joined as babies, and in all 8 years, we have been beyond 100% satisfied with the level of loving care and individual attention given on a daily basis, by each and every staff member and the Hunter family – a role-model family for any family unit. Everyone always has a kind word for each parent and child. When you’ve 3 children, on a full-time basis, over an 8-year period and not one negative interaction, it’s quite an achievement in itself never mind the praise that should be heaped on them for keeping us parents right on notes that needed returned to school or giving a child a snack early to accommodate an after-school activity/appointment or the genuine interest taken in each child’s talents and progress. The grounds are perfect with spacious lawn areas for outdoor learning (the children are always growing something!), the range of educational/cultural activities and fun celebrations really excite the children, reinforcing a sense of belonging. Sometimes it’s the simplest things they do that make such a big difference to the parent’s peace of mind and the child’s sense of well-being and confidence. If you want a childcare setting that knows what they’re doing (two-decades of experience) and operates like a well-oiled machine (first class facilities and resources, genuinely nice people and trained staff) yet a home-from-home, if you want physically active and/or mentally stimulated and content children, the Robin’s Nest home-style environment takes over from parents during the day where each child is made to feel so important yet part of the family. Just be prepared to hear about Sheila’s Stew and how your culinary skills (even boiling carrots) don’t match up! Any positive comments we receive from people on our children’s behaviour, we’ve always part-attributed to Robin’s Nest working in partnership with us in their upbringing.

This is the best daycare for miles! We visited them all when our son was a baby and actually travelled past four others to get here! The Hunter family and the care that they and their team provide to all the children in their care is exceptional. It really feels like a home from home and our son is now 7 years old and still so happy with their after-school programme. Would give it more than 5 stars if I could! Outstanding day care!
