A great place to learn about how castles were built and used, there’s also a lovely little gift shop and Bodiam Castle history tours for schools and adults alike. A fantastic example of a castle that still stands today.

Great day out and we were very lucky with the weather! Lots of space to walk around outside the castle and a nice little café which had bits to eat and warm drinks!

On our visit to Bodiam Castle we enjoyed walking around the grounds of the castle and seeing the fish and ducks that reside in the castle moat was great for the children. It was a great day out enjoyed by all the family and a perfect place to have a picnic. The only downside to the visit was that the Castle itself was closed due to the current restrictions that have been put in place due to Covid. Will definitely be returning to Bodiam Castle in the future.
