Amazing service the RLNI station provides serving all up the Clyde and across to Arran. The open day is a fantastic experience. Getting to go in the life boat and speak to crew was the obvious highlight. The crew will tell you about the area they cover and rescues they undertake, which is really interesting.

Had an amazing visit here with the gorgeous lifeboat mechanic , We were treated to a tour and a life boat visit, in a life jacket of course,! Saw seals in the harbour the kit the crew wear , just a lovely morning with such a lovely man. Thank you to all the RNLI men and women for being there! Oh and James enjoyed the time too x

Great day spent at Troon lifeboat Station at the open day all these guys deserve a medal for the relentless job they do in sometime very dangerous conditions cannot praise them enough and a special mention for the coxswain Joe who is an asset to all the crew and has a great love for his job
Great to speak to the staff and get a tour round the boat. Very accommodating and more than helpful.
