Aberdeen RNLI Lifeboat Station is one of the earliest such rescue stations set-up in Scotland, being established as far back as 1802. The current dockside lifeboat station was opened in July 1997, and is presently equipped with a Severn class all weather lifeboat and a D class inshore lifeboat.

Visited on a doors open / fun day. This organisation and the dedicated personnel that work here really are worth their weight in gold. The fun day really is worth a visit and is quite a popular event.
