TAQNIA's objectives include technology transfer, commercializing technology, supporting sustainable growth of the GDP, diversifying the economy, and creating high quality jobs Taqnia is the technology arm of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of KSA. Its mandate is to support and invest in suitable local and international R&D that would fuel the growth of selected technologies that have been deemed to be strategic for the nation sustained economic growth, and its self-reliance and leadership.
