I booked a cruise 01.03.20, I received an email 03.03.20 they decommissioned the ship I was scheduled on for updates. They offered another sailing date or refund, I chose a refund as the alternate sailing date did not work with my schedule. THE CANCELLATION WAS PRIOR TO THE PANDEMIC SHUT DOWN! I patiently waited due to the pandemic shutdown, even though my cancellation had nothing to do with the pandemic. I checked monthly for refund status. I was finally told in December 2020 a refund would be issued on 1.11.21. This date came and no refund, I waited a week, still no refund. I called the cruise line and was advised by a “supervisor” there is no refund date or time line she can provide! This is left, they have money they have not provided a service or product for and refuse to return it. They have held this money over a year accruing interest.

I own Journeys with Laura, a travel agency in Palm Beach County. I thought I would try the ship as a client before I sell to a client. The entertainment was very good, but that’s about it! The food was terrible as well as the decor which needs a lot of updating because the ship is old. On the way back from the Bahamas we were held at the dock in Nassau because of some big issue with the ship. They had to call in workers and welders to fix things as well as inspectors. We were supposed to be on our way around 4pm. We didn’t leave until after 10pm. Because of this the ship had to go full steam ahead which made for a rough ride! As a travel agency owner I still have not collected the commission due to my company for this sailing which was in February of 2020! I will never try to sell this ship to a client in fear that they would never book anything with me again. Shame on them for not paying my commission even after I emailed them several times. I was told “these are hard times right now”. Well they are hard times for me and everyone else as well. Shame on these CEO’s who we all know are still taking their “big” salaries!

O-K, I called both numbers I have for this so-called cruise line and got ye old message \The number you've called is no longer in service.\ On both lines. I guess I can no longer call them to see where they are in the process of refunding our 1600 \Cruise and Stay\ cruise and hotel pkg. We were booked for an April 10th cruise and stay at an all-inclusive resort. We've been calling them every month to no avail. Now, quite simply, they have stolen our money at the worst possible time...

If you've never been on a cruise before, this is a great introductory one that is affordable and short. If you have been on a cruise before, this in no way compares to the massive, luxury ships of other cruise lines (it pales in comparison). That being said, everything was of a basic standard. The food, rooms, entertainment and service were all good/basic, considering everything. I enjoyed it overall and will go again.

I will say it was fun when I went before COVID and it had a lot of things to do on the boat so you didn’t have to get off to enjoy yourself. But I see a lot of comments saying that they are not giving out refunds due to the cancellation of COVID. A reason could be is because they sold their ship (because they realized they were going to lose money) and basically dropped off the face of the earth. I hope you all get your refunds
