I don't usually have a problem with Steve's Diner, but this was seriously disappointing. I paid 15 for a 1 piece fish and chips (I chose mashed potatoes) take-out. The food tasted fine (though the fish was quite greasy). There was no tartar sauce, no coleslaw, not even a little package of ketchup.

Oooh boy! Want a fantastic burger in the greater Moncton area? Look no further. Steve's Big Burger Platter is mouthwatering. A huge tasty burger topped with two onion rings with all condiments is a wonderful eating experience. The side of perfectly cooked home cut fries are delicious as well. Cozy place, old style diner almost makes you feel you're on an episode of Happy Days. Great place for kids too.
I was on a baseball tournament and we lost the semis cuz i was starting pitcher, and couldnt make it. All because of their pancake mix that gave me and my friend food poisoning, and had us sick for the rest of the torunament. Sad because we came all the way from Ontario to New Brunswick for this amazing tournament, and it got ruined because of Steve's diner Pancake mix.
I was on a tight time budget and I have to say they definitely got my lunch out in a hurry! The food was good, I had the club sandwich platter and side order of onion rings. But then the bill came and after taxes and tip it was over 40. The clubhouse platter was 18.95 and the onion rings were 8.99 and a canned pop was 2.75. 9 for a side of onion rings??? No need to rush back... Except for the chocolate cake with boiled icing. That's worth it every time.
Love the nostalgia of this diner. The staff are all so friendly and the food is comfort food at its finest. You wont walk away hungry from a plate of their food either, so overall a great value for what you receive. Went today for the 1st time again in years and the only sad part was that I'd waited so long to come back. Can't wait to go back on a day when I'm hungry enough for a milkshake with my meal
